Dutch Men’s Volleyball team to play matches in Korea

The FIVB Volleyball World League is hosted by FIVB(International Volleyball Federation) every year. This year it is the 27th edition of the event and currently being played from 16 June to 17 July.

With 36 teams competing, the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World League is the biggest ever in the history of the tournament. The Dutch Men’s Volleyball team is going to play matches in South Korea from the 1 to 3 July.

The dates of the three matches and the venue are like the following.

1 July, at 18.30: the Netherlands – Egypt

2 July, at 16.30: the Netherlands – Czech Republic

3 July, at 14.00: the Netherlands – Republic of Korea

Venue: Jangchung Gymnasium

The Netherlands ended a three-year absence from the FIVB Volleyball World League by returning in 2013 with a 14th-place finish. They finished fourth in Group 2 in 2014 after topping Pool E. In 2015, they finished second in World League Group 2’s Pool E with nine wins and three losses. Coach Guido Vermeulen now guides the Dutch team.
